As of now, I am a corporate employee working 8 hours a day. Lately, I felt tired of that 8-5 grind juggling work and being a mother. That's why I came to think of a business or a freelancing virtual assistant work where I will be staying at home taking care of my 2 daughters without having to rush hours preparing for work early in the morning and come home late at night. I also dream of watching my kids grow and monitor their activities. I just want to spend time, play and laugh with them. I've been working for 12 years now and I rarely do these things because of tired body when getting home from work and needs to do house chores.

And then I came across FVA (Filipino Virtual Assistance) page while scrolling my Facebook news feed. I consider this thing as a blessing as this offers me a great opportunity to realize my dream of working at home. At first I was hesitant because we have no internet connection at home and at the same time, I am not a techy person. But it's not a problem at all. So I enrolled in their freelancing course with hope that one day, I will be landing a great job. One thing I was encouraged to enroll is that because of their promise that they will never leave their students until they got landed on a job and freelancing is the future of work. As of now, I am halfway done with all the lessons and with this, I already learned a lot of things with regards to social media management and marketing, website creation and basic graphic design, I am thankful that I virtually met Coach Grace, who diligently teach and guide us, check our assignments, motivates her students and constantly reminding us to always do our best.

And now as I start my freelancing career being a virtual assistant, I always aim to be the best in everything I do. I am empowered to do the best service I can offer to my future clients.
